Christy Mickel offers over 15 years of experience in the property management field, overseeing numerous commercial and industrial properties ranging from Class A and B offices, retail stores, medical facilities, government facilities and more.

A noted business visionary and transformation strategist who embraces opportunities to enact change that improves the experience of both the tenant and property management company, Ms. Mickel’s experience has been punctuated by her high level of responsiveness to ever-changing market and economic challenges serves as the hallmark of her career. Ms. Mickel’s history of providing vision, leadership and guidance to organizations, deploying a strategic and tactical approach to advancing multi-million dollar remodel / renovation projects, building and managing vendor / supplier relationships has earned high phrase from customers, colleagues and local business and government leaders.

Prior to opening Kronos Management Services, Ms. Mickel served as a Property Manager for Cushman and Wakefield’s San Diego office for a 3 ½ year period, holding accountability for 178K sf of medical buildings as well as a multi-million dollar budget for capital improvements and tenant-related initiatives. Prior to assuming the role at Cushman and Wakefield, she managed commercial properties for Cambridge Holdings Inc. of San Diego, managing tenant / vendor relations, daily business and financial operations.

A forward-thinking proactive professional known for her ability to recruit, train and retain top tier talent, Ms. Mickel began her career working for H.G. Fenton Company of San Diego, overseeing the commercial manager’s administrative operations for 2.9M sf of Class A and B buildings and retail properties, many of which were built pre-1990. She transitioned to a management role with The Abbey Company in 2007, overseeing the daily property management initiatives, including capital improvements and other construction management initiatives, for a portfolio of 1Million sf of industrial office and properties located in San Diego County.

After a five year run, Ms. Mickel assumed managerial oversight of 500K portfolio of Class A offices and industrial properties for Transwestern of San Diego. In this role, she oversaw the daily operations as well as financial accountability, construction property management projects including maintenance, repair and insurance-related matters.

Ms. Mickel has been recognized for her ability to accurately assess the competitive landscape, as well as trends and legislation that affects commercial and industrial property owners. Recognized as an astute analyst and relationship builder with clients as well as alliance partners, bankers and other stakeholders, Ms. Mickel’s understands of the local real estate market has proved to be instrumental in structuring and negotiating complex contracts / vendor agreements.

Fluent in five languages (English, French, Japanese, German and Spanish, Ms. Mickel has earned undergraduate degrees from the University of Arizona (Political Science), the University of British Columbia in Vancouver (Political Science) as well as from The University of Paris VIII (Japanese). She also holds a Real Estate License of the State of California as well as a Real Property Administrator (RPA) Designation from BOMI International.
